A Romantic Escape in Baa Atoll, Maldives

Reethi Resort is an exceptional experience and now my favourite Maldives location to visit. The reef was healthy with large fish, tutles and sharks. The food was outstanding. Alifaan can match the best steak restaurants in Europe and Kaiyo gave us a delicious, genuine flavour of Asia. But the real standout was the staff and service. We were made to feel like one of the family from everyone there and were truly sad to leave at the end of our trip. I want to thank Shahid for making our visit special with tailored dishes, Rajesh and all his chefs for the amazing food, the Maldivian curry was the best. A huge thank you goes to Karuna who made us feel very special, with no request too difficult. It was a truly amazing holiday and we shall be returning to stay again.

We absolutely loved our stay at this resort! It was a truly unforgettable holiday. Excellent service, delicious food, an amazing team of staff who are always ready to help with anything, at any time of the day or night, and, of course, an absolutely breathtaking house reef. It is so beautiful and full of marine life that you simply never want to get out of the water! I would especially like to mention a few wonderful people who made our holiday truly special. 1. Diana – Front Desk Such a warm, friendly and genuinely welcoming person! She always greets you with a smile and is happy to help with anything. We especially appreciated her help with buggy rides when our room key stopped working twice, and we even had to call security. Thank you, Diana, for your patience, kindness and positive attitude! 2. Sharuan – My Diving Instructor A true professional who is clearly passionate about what he does! Before every dive, he gives you a thorough briefing, draws a map of the dive site, explains the currents in detail and reassures you so confidently that you start believing that even the strongest current wouldn’t dare take you away! But what makes him truly special is the way he supports you whenever you feel nervous or unsure. He always knows how to calm you down, encourage you and, most importantly, make you smile with his great sense of humour. Somehow, he manages to turn even the most nerve-racking moments into something enjoyable! He also knows exactly where to find the most incredible marine creatures and makes sure you get to see them up close. Some of the underwater encounters were absolutely breathtaking! Thanks to him, every dive became a real adventure and unforgettable underwater experience. 3. Karuna – Jumla Restaurant Such a lovely and genuinely warm person! Every time she sees us, she welcomes us with such enthusiasm and happiness, as if it were the most anticipated reunion of the century. It is always a pleasure to talk to her. Her beautiful smile and positive energy make every visit to the restaurant even more enjoyable. A huge thank you to the entire resort team for making us feel so welcome and well taken care of. It is the people who make a place truly special, and this resort has some wonderful ones. We are leaving with beautiful memories and sincerely hope to come back again one day!
