Dodo4Kids: Sustainable Family Experiences

Through our collaboration with Dodo4Kids, NH Collection Maldives Reethi Resort integrates educational and sustainability-focused activities into the Maxies Family Club experience.

Designed for children and families, the programme combines play, creativity and learning, encouraging young guests to connect with nature, culture and local communities while developing an understanding of environmental responsibility and sustainable travel. By blending exploration with hands-on activities, storytelling and interactive experiences, children are introduced to the importance of protecting natural ecosystems and respecting the world around them. These experiences form part of a wider approach that supports curiosity, awareness and a lasting connection to sustainability from an early age.

Corate adoption, sustainability initiative at NH Collection Maldives Reethi Resort

Coral Restoration in the Maldives

Beneath the surface of Fonimagoodhoo’s turquoise waters, a quieter transformation is taking place. Our Coral Restoration initiative supports the regeneration of the house reef and surrounding lagoon through structured coral nurseries and carefully placed restoration frames. Naturally broken coral fragments are collected, nurtured and later transplanted to strengthen reef resilience and marine biodiversity within the Baa Atoll UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. 

Interactive marine talks, guided snorkelling visits and hands-on coral attachment workshops invite meaningful participation in the process, fostering awareness and deeper appreciation for the reef ecosystem. By combining conservation science with education and responsible reef management, the programme contributes to the long-term vitality of the island’s underwater world, ensuring that vibrant corals, reef fish and marine life continue to thrive around Fonimagoodhoo.
