The hotel is located in a very beautiful place, and the natural surroundings are absolutely stunning. However, unfortunately, there are several major issues that seriously affected our overall experience. First of all, the distance from Malé Airport to the hotel is extremely long. It took us approximately 1.5 to 2 hours by speedboat to reach the resort. Furthermore, the transfer cost is not included in the hotel accommodation price and must be paid separately. Considering the considerable distance and the time required to get there, the transfer fee is extremely expensive. Another major disappointment was the cost of food and drinks inside the hotel. The quality of the food was very poor, the portions were extremely small, and the prices were unbelievably high compared to normal restaurants in the city. The breakfast quality was also disappointing and did not meet our expectations. To give you a clear example of how unreasonable the prices are, we were charged approximately USD 570 for one bottle of Absolut Vodka, which normally costs around EUR 18 in regular shops. Even though the hotel offered us a 15% discount because it was my birthday, the final price was still ridiculously expensive. Another example is a very basic pasta dish, with a portion weighing no more than approximately 100 to 150 grams. We were charged more than USD 50 for this simple pasta, including service charges and taxes. Considering the very ordinary quality and extremely small portion, this price is completely unreasonable. In my opinion, the hotel takes advantage of its isolated island location and the fact that guests have no access to ordinary shops, supermarkets, or alternative restaurants. Since guests cannot easily purchase anything outside the resort, they are practically forced to pay whatever prices the hotel decides to charge. Unfortunately, guests have very little choice, especially after travelling such a long distance to reach the island. I personally consider this a form of taking advantage of customers. On the positive side, the rooms are good, the hotel is clean, and the housekeeping service is satisfactory. The cleanliness of the rooms and the general accommodation facilities were among the few aspects we were happy with. However, when it comes to food quality, breakfast, the quantity of food served, and the extremely excessive prices charged for food and drinks, the hotel seriously needs to improve. A beautiful location and nice rooms are not enough to justify such unreasonable prices, especially when the quality of the food and services does not match what guests are paying. Overall, although the hotel has a beautiful location and clean, comfortable rooms, our experience was disappointing because of the very expensive transfers, extremely high prices for food and drinks, poor food quality, and very small portions. We expected much better quality and value for money. Unfortunately, the prices are far beyond what can reasonably be justified, and I would strongly encourage the management to reconsider its pricing policy and improve the quality of its food and services.

We had a great time at Kuda Rah. The resort grounds are lovely and impeccably manicured. The dining room has an amazing open air view of the beach and aqua blue waters. The choice of main courses was great any buffet was lovely with all its fresh produce, fruits, daily soup, fresh bread, salad bar and dessert options. We don’t get to see whale shark but the dive shop went out of their way to try and we did get to swim with mantas. Lisa our concierge was so sweet & hospitable. We had a fantastic time- our only regret is we didn’t stay longer. Mahalo Kuda Rah🌺

We were in the Maldives for the first time, the stunningly colored water amazed us. Very friendly hotel staff, always smiling, ready to help and solve any issue. I would like to express special gratitude to our personal manager El, she is a true professional in her field. She greeted us very friendly, settled us in the villa, told us everything, was constantly in touch, and solved any question quickly and professionally. The restaurant and bar staff always lifted spirits with their conversation. Well done! Overall, the island is small, just what you need for a secluded vacation. There are so many fish, watching them is a special pleasure. There is a real mean little bird at the pier, but it's even funny. To get to the island, you need to take a seaplane, but it's not long, 25 minutes, the views are simply stunning. The villa has everything you need, cleaning every day, the cleaners try hard, they create a pleasant atmosphere. Thanks to the whole team for our vacation in the Maldives!!!
