Fostering a sustainable future
Sustainability in Every Sip
Our in-house water bottling system provides fresh, filtered water onsite, eliminating the need for transportation and removing thousands of single-use plastic bottles from circulation every year.
It delivers a cleaner solution and cleaner hydration for our guests and team, one refill at a time.
Purchase with Purpose
Our purchasing policy champions local, sustainable, and ethical sourcing. We prioritize fair trade, avoid endangered species, and choose eco-friendly products with low-impact packaging and transport wherever possible.
Every purchase is a step toward reducing our carbon footprint and supporting a greener, fairer future.
Fair Trade Tea & Coffee
We serve only Fair Trade-certified tea and coffee, ethically sourced to support farming communities and protect the planet.
By choosing sustainable agricultural practices, we help reduce environmental impact and ensure lower carbon emissions.
Green Events
We host and support Green Meetings and Events by integrating sustainability into every aspect of planning and execution. This includes minimizing paper use through digital invitations, agendas, and registration processes.
We source local and seasonal food and support regional producers to reduce the environmental impact of transportation.
Energy consumption is reduced by using energy-efficient equipment, LED lighting and natural daylight where possible. Additionally, we avoid disposable décor and single-use items, opting instead for reusable and eco-conscious alternatives.
Each event is intentionally designed to be low-waste and low-carbon, aligning with our commitment to environmentally responsible hospitality.
75% Non-Smoking Rooms
Laundry on Request
Instead of daily laundry, we offer guest-requested service to help conserve water, energy, and detergents.
Fewer washes mean fewer emissions and less impact on the environment - because every choice counts.
Reduced Single-Use Plastic in Restaurant
We’ve cut back on single-use plastics in our dining spaces - no straws, plastic forks, or throwaway wrappers. Instead, we’re choosing more sustainable ways to serve food.
By reducing plastic, we’re helping keep oceans clean, minimizing pollution, and protecting the planet. When we require disposables, we use biodegradable ones that break down naturally. Every meal we serve is a small step towards a greener future.
Waste Diversion
We recycle and manage waste responsibly, which prevents excess going to landfill.
This helps diminish methane and save natural resources, supporting a more sustainable system.
Reduce, Reuse and Recycle
We have embraced the three R’s, reducing paper use in our guest rooms, meeting spaces and offices.
Our used furniture, blankets, linens and towels are donated to registered charities.
We recycle aluminum cans, glass, plastics, cardboard and cooking oil locally.
Energy Conservation
We’ve upgraded to energy-efficient LED lighting throughout the hotel, significantly reducing electricity consumption while providing high-quality, long-lasting illumination in all guest rooms, common areas, and back-of-house spaces. In addition, motion-sensor lighting has been installed in car parks and select service areas.
These sensors automatically activate lights only when movement is detected, further minimizing unnecessary energy use. Together, these upgrades help lower our carbon footprint, reduce maintenance needs, and support our commitment to sustainable hospitality.
Water Conservation
Across our property, we’ve implemented low-flow fixtures in showers, taps, and toilets to significantly reduce water usage without compromising comfort.
We also encourage guests to join our conservation efforts through subtle in-room reminders and sustainable service options. These initiatives not only protect local water resources but also reduce the energy required for water heating and distribution - supporting our broader commitment to environmental sustainability.
Shuttle Services
Our shuttle services reduce the number of individual car trips, helping to cut down fuel use and traffic congestion.
Fewer vehicles on the road means fewer emissions, aligning with our low-carbon transportation goals.
Electric Car Charging
To support the transition to green mobility, we provide EV charging stations for guests and staff.
We encourage the use of electric vehicles to reduce air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions associated with traditional cars.
Non-Toxic Chemicals
75% of the cleaning agents and amenities we use are biodegradable and free from harsh, toxic substances.
This provides safer air and water while reducing the environmental impact of chemical leaching.
Community Programs
We actively support and organize a variety of local community initiatives that focus on education, environmental conservation, and overall well-being. These programmes foster deeper connections with the communities around us but also strengthen our commitment to social and environmental sustainability.
Through environmental conservation initiatives, we partner with local groups to conduct tree planting drives, beach clean-ups, and biodiversity restoration projects. These hands-on activities help restore natural ecosystems and engage guests and staff in meaningful action against climate change.
To promote well-being, we organize community health camps, fitness activities, and mental wellness programmes, especially in underresourced neighborhoods. These efforts aim to improve quality of life while encouraging healthier, more resilient communities.
By integrating these initiatives into our operations, we contribute to climate action, reduce long-term environmental impact, and help build a more informed, empowered, and sustainable society.
