My wife and I recently spent 6 incredible days at the NH Collection Maldives Havodda Resort, splitting our time between a beach villa for the first 3 days and a water villa for the final 3 days. From start to finish, the experience exceeded all our expectations. ​Here are the three major highlights from our stay: ​1. Impeccable, Personalized Service ​The hospitality here is truly world-class. From the moment we arrived, we felt like the most important guests on the island. We were assigned a dedicated host, Gayan, who shared his WhatsApp with us and was lightning-fast and wonderfully friendly whenever we needed anything. Every single member of the staff went above and beyond to cater to our needs with a deeply personal approach. ​2. Outstanding Vegan-Friendly Dining. The food quality and variety were phenomenal. Each day of the week featured different culinary themes with plenty of fresh options. As a vegan, I was genuinely surprised by the vast selection available, including dedicated desserts and ice cream! Best of all, whenever I wanted something that wasn't already on the buffet, the culinary team happily prepared personalized vegan dishes just for me. ​3. Pristine House Reef and Tranquil Island Vibe. Because the resort occupies the entire island, the atmosphere is wonderfully peaceful and tranquil. Complimentary snorkeling equipment is provided, and the house reef surrounding the entire island is simply breathtaking. We spent hours exploring the untouched coral gardens, encountering an incredible variety of colorful fish, turtles, stingrays, moray eels, and reef sharks - all completely safe and harmless. We also loved watching the local flying foxes (bats) around the lush island grounds. ​A Special Mention: Our Dream Beach Wedding. We also had our wedding ceremony at the resort, and it turned out to be one of the most magical experiences of our lives. We were led to the ceremony gate by flower girls and traditional drums for a stunning beach wedding complete with cake and champagne. Afterward, we planted our family tree featuring a personalized plaque with our names and wedding date. ​To top it all off, we used the resort's in-house photographer for the ceremony, and they did an impeccable job capturing every special moment. ​If you are looking for the ultimate romantic wedding ceremony or a luxurious, tranquil island escape, I could not recommend NH Collection Maldives Havodda Resort more highly!
